Unforgettable Moments: St. Moritz Fireside-Chats with Marmot

Our Get-Together

Marmot hosted our first Alpine Firechats together with Chateau Papillon

Last weekend, amidst the picturesque snow-capped peaks of St. Moritz, Marmot - where women and families invest - orchestrated a gathering that transcended the ordinary. The air was crisp with anticipation as participants and guests braved heavy snowfall and unexpected hurdles to converge upon this breathtaking locale. Despite blocked roads and canceled reservations, their determination to partake in an extraordinary event prevailed.

Over two remarkable days, more than 150 guests embarked on a journey that intertwined investing, entrepreneurship, and art in a seamless blend of intellectual discourse and outdoor adventure. From carving fresh tracks on pristine slopes to immersing themselves in the elegance of classic automobiles at "The ICE" and "The Nomad Circle," attendees were treated to a multifaceted experience unlike any other.

**Fireside Chats: A Glimpse into Extraordinary Journeys**

The heart of the event pulsated with insightful fireside chats, where luminaries from various fields shared their stories of resilience, vision, and innovation.

Grazyna Kulczyk, from Art Stations Foundation CH / Muzeum Susch, mesmerized the audience with her narrative of entrepreneurial tenacity amidst the backdrop of communist Poland. Her unwavering determination and rare insights into the art world captivated all.

Dr. Franziska Leonhardt illuminated the path to balanced and long-term investment strategies, drawing from her rich experience in both entrepreneurship and family investments. Alongside her sister, she champions a responsible approach to asset management.

Dr. Gesa Miczaika highlighted the symbiotic relationship between diversity in management and organizational success, drawing from her own journey in the venture capital landscape.

Nicole Büttner shed light on the burgeoning opportunities in artificial intelligence within the realm of Venture Capital, urging early entry into this transformative field.

Arielle Sheh, representing Moonfare Private Equity, emphasized the power of open dialogue in shaping investment decisions, advocating for democratizing the asset class through technology.

Ziba Ardalan's intuitive approach to art curation served as a testament to the transformative power of following one's instincts. Her success in discovering talent resonated deeply with attendees, underscoring the importance of intuition in the pursuit of innovation.

**Gratitude and Acknowledgment**

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Carolin Geist from Chateau Papillon, whose tireless efforts and expertise enriched the event, creating an unforgettable experience for all.

**In Conclusion**

The St. Moritz Fireside-Chats with Marmot encapsulated the essence of empowerment, innovation, and camaraderie. Against the backdrop of snow-clad peaks, attendees forged connections, shared insights, and embarked on a collective journey towards a future defined by purposeful investing and entrepreneurial vision.

As the curtains draw on this remarkable event, we carry with us the memories of invigorating discussions, breathtaking vistas, and the indomitable spirit of resilience that defined the gathering. Until we meet again amidst the Alpine splendor, let us continue to invest in ideas, nurture innovation, and embrace the transformative power of collective endeavor.

Many delicious bites ...

It was a huge pleasure to hear the speeches and share other fascinating discussions around some tasty snacks and drinks - from delicious toasts and fresh gazpacho, to cold pressed juices and fruity white wine. Our catering was not only delicious, but also made with healthy and sustainable products, which align with our drive to contribute to the future of the planet.

While the event mostly took place outside, our guests also had the chance to visit our cozy office for some coffee and dessert. This made for some great memories in the place where all the magic happens here at Marmot!

... and positive connections!

This is a moment in which discussing finance and investments prove to be ever more meaningful. Seeking advice, support, and reference points from others is highly reassuring and comforting to those who invest.

During our event, we were happy to see our guests uplifting and motivating one another in their journey as investors, and as people. This was a unique opportunity to bond and openly discuss as a community about topics that matter, and that we all love.

We were delighted to see so many new connections being formed. People exchanged not only their phone numbers, LinkedIn profiles and business cards, but also many smiles and very exciting ideas. And in the end, ideas are the fuel for positive transformations and new achievements!
