As part of the International Women's Day celebration, Marmot Finance hosted a session by 100 Women in Finance (100WF) on Female Entrepreneurship and Investing on March 16, 2023, in Zurich.
Serial entrepreneur and Tech Investor Anat Bar-Gera, along with serial entrepreneur Sara Hürlimann, and startup investor and Partner at Arieli Capital, Marina Nitsa Viergutz, CFA, CAIA, shared insights into their entrepreneurial journeys and strategies for launching and managing successful businesses. They also discussed how their entrepreneurial experience informs their investment decisions and offered advice to aspiring female entrepreneurs and investors.
Alysa Kodisch, Chair of the 100WF Zurich Committee, delivered opening remarks stressing the importance of recognizing women's achievements and outlined steps to support and empower them. Marmot Finance co-founders Wai Sze Samantha Wong and Tom Kümmeke underscored the significance of collaboration and diversity on the path to success, emphasizing inclusivity across gender, age, background, and ethnicity.
The event concluded with a lively networking reception, fostering connections among a supportive and inspiring community of women and men.
